In order to provide a mechanism for scientific and technical co-operation that is beneficial to both sides, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Electric Power University, Vietnam & Key Laboratory for Welding and Surface Treatment Technology, National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Vietnam and Institute for Reliability of Tribosystem & Materials, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Republic of Korea hereby agree to an alliance to conduct mutually beneficial co-operative activities within the scope and expertise of the above institutions.
Article 1
The objective of this Agreement is to establish a basic framework for conducting co-operative activities between Department of Mechanical Engineering, Electric Power University, Vietnam & Key Laboratory for Welding and Surface Treatment Technology, National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Vietnam and Institute for Reliability of Tribosystem & Materials, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Republic of Korea that will be beneficial to the respective institutions. Such co-operation is expected to result in a collaborative expansion of scientific and technical knowledge between both institutions.
The scope of the co-operative activities between Department of Mechanical Engineering, Electric Power University, Vietnam & Key Laboratory for Welding and Surface Treatment Technology, National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Vietnam and Institute for Reliability of Tribosystem & Materials, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Republic of Korea shall primarily consist of the following:
Exchange of academic experience and research
Exchange of graduate and upper-level undergraduate students
Exchange of professional for short, medium or long period of time
Co-operation in developing new projects and organizing joint research, advisory and consultancy activities
Article 2
This agreement is non-binding, and each co-operative activity shall be discussed in detail and consist of a statement of purpose and information on the duration, cost and other necessary terms for international co-operative activities.
Department of Mechanical Engineering, Electric Power University, Vietnam & Key Laboratory for Welding and Surface Treatment Technology, National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Vietnam and Institute for Reliability of Tribosystem & Materials, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Republic of Korea shall actively seek public and private funding to facilitate co-operative activities between the three institutions as stipulated in this memorandum.
Article 3
This Agreement will come into effect on the date of signature of both parties and shall not annulled or modified unless by mutual consent.
Article 4
This Agreement is to be executed in the English language and each copy is hereby officially certified to be authentic.
