First Announcement

General Information

Followed the success of the last CPM 2015, the 3rd International Workshop on Corrosion and Protection of Materials (CPM 2018) will be organized by the Institute for Tropical Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST)  in Hanoi, Vietnam from 18 to 21 September 2018.

With the growing consumption of materials, corrosion and protection of materials thus remains its topical as an important research area for Vietnamese and international scientists. In this topic, the Institute for Tropical Technology, VAST has a long history working in evaluation, data collection and solutions seeking for corrosion and protection of materials issues, especially at the natural testing sites along different regions of Vietnam.

As the previous one, the workshop will provide an opportunity for researchers and experts, from both academic institutions and industries working on material degradation to exchange their findings and observations for a better understanding of complex problems and to discuss their ideas to obtain solutions for the protection of materials.

Beside the workshop, a short excursion will be provided to facilitating the interaction between researchers and participants in expectation for promoting new partnership as well as strengthen the current cooperation on the area.

English is the official language in the CPM 2018. No simultaneous translation services will be available. All printed matters will appear in English as well.
