ATSC 2020 is an outstanding event in the field of thermal spray technology and is jointly organized by the Asian Thermal Spray Society and its Chinese partner as the Host Organizer: Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

ATSC 2020 will be held in Ningbo, China, a national historical and cultural city with a history dating back to 4800 B.C. Ningbo is the largest seaport in China with a population of 8 million and situated south of the Hangzhou Bay facing the East China Sea.

Subjects

The conference will focus on topics such as thermal spray processes, structural and functional coatings, materials and testing methods, etc. Representatives from academia and industries are both invited. Contributions are welcome on, but not limited to the following topics:

Abstract Submission for Oral Presentations and Posters

Abstracts for reports and posters will be published in the conference proceedings, meanwhile selected abstracts will be invited for development into full-length manuscripts for submission to the Journal of Thermal Spray Technology (JTST) special issue. The deadline details for submission are as follows:

·         Mar 15, 2020: Deadline for abstract submission for publication on JTST special issue

·         Apr 15, 2020: Deadline for abstract submission for oral presentations and posters only

·         Jun 5, 2020: Deadline for authors to submit full papers for peer review
